Robbin Gourley is an art director, a cookbook author, and the illustrator of books for adults and children. FOREST HAS A SONG is her third book for Clarion. Her first two, which she wrote as well as illustrated, are BRING ME SOME APPLES AND I'LL MAKE YOU A PIE: A STORY ABOUT EDNA LEWIS and FIRST GARDEN: THE WHITE HOUSE GARDEN AND HOW IT GREW -- both published to starred reviews. Robbin and her husband have two children, and she currently divides her time between rural North Carolina and Brooklyn, New York.
